Misteltoe’s Farewell
We loved having Mistletoe visit us from the North Pole each day for the past couple of weeks. On her final day, she left us with a “Naughty or Nice List”. Whew! Good thing everyone made the nice list except for Mistletoe, but she was a little naughty here and there. Santa also left a note about Mistletoe leaving and also left us some Santa Hat Hershey Kisses.

Writer’s Workshop Compliments
During our celebration, the kids from other classrooms wrote compliments to our students about their writing. When we got to the room, everyone got to read their compliment cards. They were so happy!
Writer’s Workshop Celebration
We also celebrated the end of our Writer’s Workshop nonfiction unit today. We made sure our desks were ready with our nonfiction books. Then we got to wander through the other second grade classrooms to look at their books. We also added compliments to the authors on small sheets on the author’s desk. We had tons of fun today!
