Water Cycle Bracelets
We have been studying the water cycle. The class made these bracelets to represent the steps of the water cycle. Each color bead stands for a different step in the cycle. Can your child tell you which color stands for which step?

Fossil Stations
We had a great time learning about how fossils form. At the end of the fossil mini-unit, we rotated through fossil stations and had a great time being paleontologists.
Keeping Track of Our Reading
We had a lesson on how important it is to keep track of what you’re reading while you read so that you can go back later and retell the story to yourself and to someone else. To practice this, we wrote short notes and/or pictures on Post Its as we read and then put those in order to share with our reading buddy later.
